You'll see where the passion is born: the Camp Nou stadium, where you'll experience the player's tunnel and the visitor's team changing rooms. You'll step into the pitch and visit the Museum with the most prestigious cups and trophies of the soccer world.
You will also see where the club was founded, where old headquarters and playing grounds where located all while visiting a city with astonishing Art Nouveau/Modernist buildings.
And of course, you'll be able to eat great food near the spots you visit.
For whom is this itinerary?
This itinerary is for all ages and orientated for sports/soccer fans, especially those of FC Barcelona. Through the first and last part of the itinerary, you'll be able to see where most of Barcelona's touristic spots are with the possibility of visiting them.
Barcelona is a walkable city and, even though you'll do a lot of walking, you'll find that buses and the metro will take you door-to-door of the attractions.
What's the general theme of the itinerary? What kinds of places will you be visiting?
This itinerary is for FC Barcelona fans wanting to know not only the premises of the club with the museum and the stadium, but also the symbolic places of the club's past that have made it what it is today.
You'll be visiting the founding places in the old city and the club's first headquarters. The rented playing grounds as well as the ones FC Barcelona bought, once the club was financially stable. Spots in the premises that are a bit hidden, the Museum and Stadium.
FC Barcelona is an institution of the city and though you will find the visit to the Camp Nou Stadium and Museum offer much, once you get to the premises.
This guide will show you:
- where the players pose for the press after they sign for the club
- the entrance to the "stomach" of the stadium
- the possible future spot of the new stadium as well as where old playing grounds and headquarters were
- and many other surprises!
All this information is known by FC Barcelona, but I've dug it out of the books for you to also know and enjoy. Some of the information you'll find in this itinerary is not even known by many FC Barcelona fans from Barcelona! By being at the indicated spots, you'll be able to understand a little bit of the history of Barcelona in the past century because the club moved from one place to the other with the growth of the city.
