James Bond sure does get around.

Since Ian Fleming first created the famous secret agent in 1952, he's popped up in Hong Kong, Cuba, Germany, South Africa and more. But, there is no better place to see 007 than in the country that he's fighting for, mother England.

With MI6 based in London, you can bet he shows up in the country's capital city quite often. Today, you're going to see exactly where.

The 007 James Bond Tour of London will have you visiting Ian Fleming's former hangouts, significant places in Bond's character building and of course film locations from Dr. No (1962), Goldfinger (1964), Live and Let Die (1973), Octopussy (1983), The World is not Enough (1999), Die Another Day (2002), Quantum of Solace (2008) and Skyfall (2012). You'll get to try Bond's drink of choice from its birthplace, cruise down the River Thames and maybe even climb The O2.

The tour runs from 9:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m., starting in North Greenwich and ending near Piccadilly Circus, so there are plenty of restaurants, theaters and bars within reach for the night. Each location comes with a description of how it contributes to James Bond and a Youtube video, if available. You won't visit every Bond location in London, but a choice few.

You'll walk a maximum of three miles on this tour, as well as use the Tube at least twice. I recommend purchasing an Oyster Card to use public transportation in London for this tour, as it's the cheapest option and offers discounts on other activities. You should dress business casual as you'll be visiting a nicer establishment at the end of this tour, but make sure to wear comfortable shoes.

This tour has been put together by a London local and Bond enthusiast. I'm a freelance writer and professional travel blogger based in London, so I get to see quite a bit of the city and all it has to offer. I've used my own knowledge of the city as well as James Bond films, books and articles about the series, to help me pick out the best places to visit on this tour. You'll see some interesting spots in London, like a secret door under Westminster Bridge and learn a few things about Bond you might not have known before, like the fact that he was named after an American ornithologist. This tour is recommended for people who love James Bond, seeing film locations in person and those who just want to see a different side of London.

If you still want to see more Bond by the end of this tour, you'll find articles in the appendix that include other locations around London.

So put on your best Conduit Cut suit, pack the pistol (just in case) and let's see London like 007.
